Certification of Live Birth

Just an aside comment here. A few weeks ago I went to pick up my 5-year-old son's birth certificate for kindergarten. I also had to get his shot records and proof of residency. I then had to fill out some paperwork and turn it all in. As I was picking up his birth certificate, I noticed that it said "Certification of Live Birth" at the top. I burst into laughter, and then said to the cashier, "I hope this''ll be good enough in 40 years if he runs for President."
It just kills me that there are still people who think that a "Certification of Live Birth" doesn't somehow PROVE he was born in the United States. It's what my son got. Shouldn't the school have questioned whether or not the birth certificate is valid?
Come on, people. I had to produce documentation just to get my kid enrolled in Kindergarten. What do you think Obama had to produce to be President of the United States? He didn't ninja his way in or something. Good God! Snopes.com anyone?
